These pedals have given me 10 years of sweet smooth running with no attention.

But as I've got my SPDs off the bike at the moment, I'm currently riding with flats because of the snow, I thought I'd check out the state of the axle bearings in my pedals. Having undone the plastic collars and withdrawn the axle assembly I was treated to the sight of axles coated in sparkly metallic grease, Hmmmm me thinks the bearings might be a bit knackered. Having checked Shimano's webpage I know what size of bearings I need to reassenble with (3/32")

Unfortunately the lip seals which seal between the pedal body and the axle are all but destroyed. So even once the pedals are rebuilt there will be nothing to keep the grease in and the muck out. Does anybody know if these seals are a standard part? or If i'll need to order a complete new axle assembly, if this spare is even available, how much would they be?
