Any one got any alternatives?

I've loved these boots but finally worn away the leather through to the boot lining.

About to buy another pair but interested if anyone has got alternative suggestions for a tough SPD compatible winter/mountain boot suited to Scottish bog-hopping.

the new mt91 are nowhere as near as good as the older model.
far narrower last i reckon, lower at the back too. i had the old ones 4 yrs, i bought the new ones and sold them after 3 rides.
using spesh defrosters now, with wool socks...........warm as owt.. 8)

I'd be interested to hear this too - I've got a pair of MT90Ls and they're great, but if there's something better out there...

<edit> beaten to it by ton - sounds like not!

Ah - I thought the mt91 was just the same boot at the 90 with cosmetic tweaks - hum disappointing to hear that the spec/build has changed ๐Ÿ™

Anyone tried 'lake', or the Shim MW80?

@ ton - cheers - had a pair of NW cheapish shoes, but they disintegrated. Might want to see these irl before deciding.
