[#1928591]

I bought some Rockshox Revelation Race U-Turn - Maxle Lite Forks from Merlin in June:

They have only been used for about 150 miles, couple of rides in the Peaks, Cannock and local rubbish XC down here in Peterborough, but since last month the lockout has become increasingly 'notchy' and rarely functioning properly.

For example it will engage when locked, but when unlocked will usually flick back a little bit, sometimes half way. It is not the cable/poploc lever on the bar as with everything disengaged the blue compression ring is rough to turn by hand. I have cleaned all round the assembly with an old toothbrush in case any grit has got in, but no change.

I have not disassembled the fork to look at the Motion Control, as mainly I wouldn't have thought I should be doing that on a new fork.....plus I have the spannering abilities of a drunken chimp.

As I have only had the forks a couple of months I have shot an email over the Merlin C/S, but wondered if there is an easy fix that I should probably try and attempt myself?
