Looking to replace my rear pads shortly and looking at the options. Is going aftermarket of any benefit or worth just sticking with Shimano pads? Looking to upgrade to a 180 rotor on the back in the near future once I can find some adaptors in stock. Thanks in advance

I buy cheap organic or resin pads on EBay. They always work well enough. I have never noticed diminished lifetime. They take a while to come, so I plan ahead.

I am not a racer and don't tend to ride at the limits of the performance of the brakes, but it works for me.

Anymore ideas on this one?

I really like SwissStop pads, better feel and much longer lasting than the original Shimano pads which only lasted 800 miles...

Disco Brakes sintered. Last a while. Best in mind your rotors may have a warning printed on them to use only with resin pads. The rotors will wear very quickly if you stick sintered per ceramic pads on, so plan accordingly. Generally, the higher end rotors will take sintered or ceramic.
