Is there a difference between these two front mechs?

I'm currently running the stock 3 X 9 setup on my Specialized Camber which is nearing the end of its life, and I fancy going 2 X 10. The frame requires a Shimano E type (direct mount) front mech but I've noticed that Shimano now do an 'E2' standard, which seems to be the only currently available double front mech model.

Will this work ok on my frame? Or is the E2 standard something completely different?

They're both E2 mechs, ones dual pull the other is top pull only.

Not sure if there is a difference, but I do have an E-type SLX mech at home if you want it, £12 posted. It was only used for a month before I went 1x10.

E2 is just an E-type with the bottom bracket plates removed - well that's what I found when I needed a FD for my Yeti 575 that uses this type of mount.
