Hi,

I bought one of these chainrings for my LX hollowtech chainset (external BB model first model I think?).

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=5699

The bolts etc... fit fine but there is a slight gap between the inside of the ring and the flanges on the chainset as think I should have possibly got this one:

The original ring has M9 S-32 stamped on it whereas the new one has M9 N-32 on it.

The question is does this slight gap make any difference in terms of support etc... I am thinking that the ring is solely supported by the bolts so they may wear loose over time?

If anyone has any idea what I am talking about any advice would be gratefully apprecaited.

Many thanks.

If the bolts tighten up ok that's all you need.
