I fancy a crack at the Quantocks probably tomorrow, can anyone point me in the direction of some routes that I can look at online please?
Recommendations very welcome. Thanks in advance.
go to bikehike.co.uk and search quantocks and there is a reasonable route right there.
Why not ask for a local guide instead knottie may be around.
I did this route last week. Beware - I found the navigation a bit tricky at times due to many many unmapped tracks.
I'll show you about if you can wait a week until the 18th?
Looks like its going to tip down tomorrow anyway 🙁
Yeah, the good weather was last week when I was there 😉
What're you talking about? Everyone knows it never rains in the Westcountry. 8)
Hey - it did during the night, couldn't get any sleep. Twice I tell you!
Nonsense, it's still sunny here.
Must have been nearly 30 degrees one day, I literally sweated out the contents of my Camelbak bladder 😯
Actually, it's a bit wet and cold here. Still, better than living in That London.
I don't care if it rains or not. It's still better than being anywhere else.
Can't see the top of the Quantocks at the moment, there's a a big wet cloud covering the lot 😕
Rained nr exter but got a lovely night's sleep thanks - tripple pained windows - the future! And!.... Rode in this morning to work and still dry - well sweaty!! There beat that 😉
Dibbs is quite useful, but we need a Quantocks weathercam.
This camera is not far from the Quantocks
The cloud has not yet dumped it's load and is at present passing over my place.
big dumps forecast later see BBC weather
I've given it a miss for today. I think it's sensible to get an OS map first. Thanks fo rthe offer sponging machine, alas I'm on my hols YAY!
Only a week though BOO! so after that I'd love to be shown around.
BTW, the rain is not an issue as I have a jacket!
Think i'll wander down the local beer fest and get wet..
Might ride tomorrow...
