Shimano brakes and Magura rotors?

My bike has Magura Storm 203/180 rotors but I've just picked up a set of XT BR-M8120 brakes and I'm just trying to figure out whether I need to replace rotors as well.

I believe the Magura rotors are marginally thicker than Shimano use (which has the benefit of being less liable to warp, I guess) though they'll be a little worn anyway.

But I'm more curious about the Shimano pads being wider/taller and possibly overlapping the brake track on the Magura rotors.

Anyone know how the brake tracks compare?

I've run magura rotors and zee/saint brakes with EBC pads on a trials bike for past few years. They work is what I know.

I'm running magura brakes with a Shimano rear caliper (frame fit issues) and magura rotors. Rear works just fine with the mix and match.

I am running magura rotors with Shimano 2 pots and no issues with brake tracks not aligning. They were already quite worn rotors when I put them on so probably like a new Shimano.
