[Closed] Shameless plug for A Quick Release Holidays (AQR)

Beautiful warm sunny weather riding in the Algarve, what could be better? This week was billed as a coaching week and had a mixture of endurance and XC races with me and one other guy as fun trail riders. The company is run by the Australian Kate Potter of endurance and cross-country racing fame and her husband Ian. A significant amount of time was spent on skills both steep loose and technical climbing as well as descending. A lot of attention was paid to bike fit with Anne Dickins a superb physio assessing and correcting areas of core body weakness. The riding here was not the most technically interesting with relatively limited single track but a lot of twisting steep double track through the olive groves which could be taken at exciting speeds!. The lovely weather and coaching made it a brilliant weeks holiday to start the season off.

AQR home base is in Luchon in the French Pyrrenees where the riding sounds absolutely brilliant and with Ian Potter as lead guide I'm certainly planning to visit
