[#2903170]

Decided to upgrade seals in my Fox 36 to Enduro seals, as everybody says they are way better and my standard ones are due to change.

How do you get these bastards in?? They seam to be too large for the fork. The guide ( http://www.enduroforkseals.com/id28.html) says freeze the seal and use PVC pipe. Did freezing, but made no difference.
And where would I get PVC pipe of this size??

Tried to put the seals on stanchions and get the stanchions into the fork, but did not work.

Suggestions?

Stronger thumbs 😉 I have never had a problem TBH they just usually push in.

Tell her to relax, use some lube, and gently push it in.
Oh wait, wrong topic...

I froze them and used a socket (from a socket set) to push them in

yeah, eventually got them in after about an hour of jumping on them.

The key was not to be afraid to bend the top bits in - slightly reduces the inner diameter. Need to watch out, as they tried to pop out on me..

Just for the future generations.
