I seem to have hoarded a bit too much of my biking history so I'm having a clear out. My first full suss was an early specialized ground control. I updated it as I used it. BETD linkage, better shock, disk brake conversion. All made it more usable, but now I'm selling would I be better off putting it back to stock? I still have the original shock, linkage and canti studs. Maybe it isn't retro enough to justify doing much. I want it out the way but don't want it going for 99p. What do you reckon?

Probably best to sell it as it is as you will get more if its improved.doubt its worth much as an original retrobike although I might be wrong.maybe ask this on the retrobike website just incase it is of value.best of selling it as a complete bike with no faults if you the rest of the parts spare.
I put a Marin Shoreline Trail Frame only on ebay.
It was a crap bike, steel swing arm, coil shock, bobbed like a drunken Penguin 🐧
Anyway it sold for over £120 😳😳
Madness
I'd sell as is but with the bits to convert to retro spec as required.
Those rear disc mounts are rare as hens teeth, they also fit fsr xc and enduros.
Put the frame back to standard and list separately. There will be people with that bike that have been waiting an age for a betd link to come up.
