I have a 30.9 seat post on my bike but really want a hope seat QR but the closest 1 they do is a 30.0, anybody know if I can get away with a slightly smaller clamp?

If your seatpost is 30.9 your frame will be 34.9 so you want a 34.9 seat clamp.
