looking to buy a pair and am wondering which size to go for, i wear
size 11's and not sure whether they come up large or small?
they come up quite small i made this mistake.
I'm not sure about socks, but gloves are smaller than you would think.
Don't forget that they don't stretch that far; they also don't shrink much... In fact, it's a bit like wearing a large furry corduroy sock...

just make sure your shoes are big enough. Using mine with my regular Shimano shoes meant having to remove the insole. That combined with them still being tight meant cold feet in the winter. I've gone up a size now in MW 80's and there's loads of room and no more cold feet.
I've found they come up quite large. I wear a size smaller in Sealskinz than I would normal socks. I'm a size 9 shoe but wear medium (size 6 - 8) sealskinz and they fit fine.
