So I have tried and tried to get them one, but i can not for the life of me get them on...
Any body else had this problem?

you could maybe try heating up the tyres on a raditor/with a hairdryer to make them a bit more flexible. just thought of that though so no idea if it would work. or put a bit of washing up liquid on the bead.

Washing up liquid on the bead, but I doubt you will! They're a complete arse to get onto normal rims, let alone Stans.

The Simson Tyre Mate tyre lever is very helpful for fitting Marathon Plus tyres: http://www.dotbike.com/p/3845
Also, use zip ties to hold the tyre on, as you work round the rim.
