As per many websites the evo carcass/bead etc is apparently tubeless ready meaning it needs sealant to work. Does this mean it's only suitable for taped systems like stan's, bontrager or Dt Swiss or will they work with sealant on my UST rims (Mavic XM 819s)? Should I just go for the UST ones instead?
It will work the same with all the ones you've mentioned, it will just need sealent to work (and strip on stans obviously). For the record i've ordered some tyres from on one and plan to use with 819's with sealant.
I expect the On One's are old stock not the new 2011 tubeless ready although I could be wrong.
On One website states that the evo versions ARE tubeless......
Mine got delivered today a nobby nic evo snakeskin which are tubeless ready just need to add the sealant. the snakeskin reinforces the outer wall
