I have a 1st generation scandal (got it second hand), made with the scandium alloy rather than the more recent stuff. Anyone know if the tubes are butted or plain gauge?
Obviously it makes no difference in any way to know, love the bike but just interested to know

Double butted top tube. Triple butted downtube and seat tube.

Most alloy and steel frames are butted. Only exceptionally shite ones aren't.

Is it the anodised one or painted? I love the anodised finish on mine far more than any painted frame I've had. Seems very durable.

Anodized. Looks great with a coat of GT85......
