[Closed] saris bones fitting

Is it safe to fit a saris bones 3 rack to the back of the car without the bottom feet resting on the bumper? They would be touching the boot vertically above the number plate and all the weight of the bikes would be held on the straps. I’m very dubious myself.

If not does anyone know how to remove a spoiler from the back of a Saab 900? I assume it’s just a case of ripping off carefully removing the boot lid lining and unscrewing it from the inside but then what do I do with the resulting holes?
