[Closed] Salsa Moto Carbon Flat Bars and Thomson Stem

Anyone running salsa motocarbon flat bars with a thomson stem? I've heard cnc machined flat ends on thomson stems make them not suitable for use with carbon bars? Anyone any thoughts?

Hi

We have used those bars on various stems, including Thomson, on our team over the past 4 years and have never had a problem.

As the man says, no worries. We have bikes that come with carbon bars and Thomson stems and my Zula has the same.

Here we have Thomson stems with an Azonic CF bar, two Bontrager raisers and also a very similar Nuke Proof Warhead with a flat Bontrager. Never an issue.

Yes I do ride for them - we all use their carbon bars - a selection of risers and flat.
