Whatever happened to saddles with the kevlar corners, they were all the rage back when bikes weren't silly money, those days when your van was worth more than your bike 🙂.
Every saddle I like the look off or own just won't survive a crash unscathed.

They used to eat shorts.

SDG Bel Air has quite a rough, tough fabric on the edges, got one about 6 months old on one bike and another that must be at least 10 years old on the other bike. The printing/logo wears off but that's it.

Yeah they destroyed clothes, which were more expensive than saddles anyway.

Stop crashing on your saddle.

Stop crashing on your saddle.

Or dumping your bike down on your drive like a 5 year old.

Yes! Another opportunity to hawk Scotch 2228 Tape.

Place a thin strip around the rear 3/4 of the saddle and you can lean your bike on broken glass for all your 108g carbon saddle will care. And it looks like stock.
