In the recent warm weather I went without my back pack and loved the freedom so am thinking of using a saddle bag for medium rides.
What are the cool kids using these days and what do you pack for Upto 3 hour rides

Tube, multi tool, c02 cart, scabs, split link, tyre leavers, and a couple of cable ties.
In what pack?
Topeak aero wedge, comes in 3 sizes, think mines the meduim one, well made and has a zip you can undo to extend it a bit.
Don't forget a co2, and/or frame pump.
Cheap and very small Decathlon job. It contains:
Tube
Multi tool
Glue less patches
Spare mech hanger
A zip tie
2 tyre levers
A CO2 cannister
I have one on every bike and they just stay there. I'm normally carry a pump in a jersey pocket too.
Tyre levers, tube and small multi tool in a Leyzene road caddy.
