They're awesome, I've got 3. Incredibly light, very comfy. Can't recommend it highly enough. Makes the Giro Ionos at £160 and more than 50% heavier look a bit crap!

Agreed. I have two. Very light and very comfortable. They also have an excellent crash replacement policy 🙂

had an older model s-works 2d. great helmet, very light, airy and secure fitting. recently got knocked off the bike by a dog and landed quite hard. felt the impact on my head and found later that the helmet had a massive crack in it. glad i had it on but gutted at the same time.

Got the 2010 one for my mum for xmas. Properly light and she seems to like it.

The 2Ds have never changed, there is only one model, 2008-2010, MTB/road, they're all identical.

Real life photos, I've got plenty of them on me...

They're quite 'small' in real life IMO and tend to be quite neat. I've always ditched the peak straight away!

awesome photo njee! are you a 'pro' racer?? or just a fun racer?

are you sponsered by specialized by any chance? 🙂

it does look really really neat and tidy and not bulky like a mushroom unlike most helmets, the main reason i wanna change is due to owning some spesh adaptalite shades and they just do not get on well with my met veleno d helmet, where as the sworks helmet looks like it has a bit of clearance over the ears for the glasses....

cool as though, nice pic have you got a photostream to have a looksy at racing? id love to get involved in some form of racing even if it was just a bit of fun

And here's the black one. I've been wearing a Catlike Whisper over the last year so this is a bit old. I've just acquired (crash replacement) a new S-Works version so I'll be wearing that for racing this year.
