Anyone done this and if so what preventative maintenance did you do to keep the post running smoothly?

Ran one for a couple of years now with just a lizard skins neoprene cover and nay bother at all

I've used a section of inner tube with success, I found the neoprene still let the crap through.
Just remove and grease as per instructions every few weeks to keep it sweet, 5 min job dead easy too. 😉
