Just doing a lower leg service on my pikes, went to reassemble the lowers and noticed theres no crush washer retainer on the air spring side. It seems like the crush washer sits in a recess in the black bolt. Is this right? The manual clearly shows a washer and a retainer... 😕

That's fine. The cup washer is for flat bottomed bolts without the recess.
I have a bag of 50 washers but never had to use them as my bolts are recessed.
