I have a circa 2016 RS Monarch RT on my FS. Absolutely no issues with it, but it's making a bit of a psst, psst noise, especially when you get a bit of "bob" from pedalling - not an issue when being fully compressed through travel - you don't notice it.
I've done an oil can change, but the noise comes from the IFP (could replicate it pressing the piston in with the air can off). I know it can be aerated oil. Tempted to just leave it as it's all working fine, no loss of pressure, lockout working etc etc. Inside looks fine (air can oil was a bit grubby) and it's working fine since the oil change.
I don't have the adapter and my shock pump won't hit 500 PSI !
Doesn't really get loads of use, having five bikes to chose from - it's used for big days out/trail centres.
I have a diddy 165x38 RS Monarch that was getting a bit wheezy.
A full service (not by me) resolved this - I noticed with this wheezing the LO had also gotten a bit soft too.
