Calling all Camber owners, has anyone replaced their stock shock with a RP23? I have a 2011 Elite with an Ario RL but I find it a bit unrefined and it's like I'm on a pogo stick. I see that there are a number of tunes available but I'm uncertain of which suits the camber, can anyone advise?

Thanks,

I replace my Ario RL with a RP23 high volume can with kashima coat and its transformed the bike beyond my dreams. Its changed the bike so much in the first 3 weeks I got 14 KOMS on strava and the bike is so smooth it feels like it just flows round my local trails,When I get home I'll look what tune its got cause I can't remember but it's worth every penny.

Yes - do it. The rp23 transformed my camber (had a stock triad) now running a new fox ctd and its brilliant. Only my frame is original (2011 camber) and out of all the upgrades, the one I noticed the most was a decent rear shock!

I ran a med/med tune and it was fine for me. you can always dial on rebound anyway, the tune just shifts the adjustable window.

Crc had some bloomin cheap rp23's recently! It's good that the shock is a standard size (200 long x 50 mm stroke). Spesh used to be a nightmare with custom sizes!

Here you go! Amazing value.....run it for a bit and if you want to change anything get it tuned specifically for your bike from tf tuned or loco .....

That's good news. I had already been looking at the crc one but I didn't know if it was suitable, low volume, big volume, tune etc.

richietea, I'd like to hear what tune you have.

Thanks.

Ran an Rp23 on mine for over a year before I sold the bike. Recommended upgrade!

Yes! TNT managed to lose my Triad which was being sent back to Mojo for warranty work, so I received a lovely, shiny Kashima CTD in the post a couple of weeks back.

I believe that you need the stock (small) aircan, with firm compression tune.
