i would really like to ride it,as it would save me riding on the main roads (very busy) between marlbrough & swindon on my road bike.
have googled it,but i am an idiot and cannot find a decent map of it ๐ณ
if you have a map of the route that would be fantastic.
thank you kindly in advance ๐
raceface - it's the Chiseldon path. I've only ridden the section between Ogbourne Maizey and just past Whitefield Farm to go to Barbury. If it's dry that section would be OK but I've definitely seen puddles and mud on it!
thanks cinnamon girl ๐ hope you are well by the way?
didn't know what the route was called ๐ณ
i have a route planned and the cycleway will be the icing on the cake (no traffic).
from devizes to pewsey vale (i love the scenery along it).then marlbrough and on the cycleway to swindon, then back again.
i would do it via the ridgeway on my duster mtb,but really want to do it on my road bike, especially during the one day of sunny weather ๐
You want to stop off at the new Farm shop by Chiseldon the cycletrack runs behind it.Got cafe in there and all sorts of food.Nice place and a few seats outside.Friendly folk.
