[Closed] Rovaniemi 150 Arctic Race Brit update

At about 1/3 distance & 7 hours in, John Shaggy Ross is only minutes behind the leader, who I think is Czeck rider Jan Kopka.John seems in good spirits & did not seem to be as flat out as the leader, which may pay off later. He's keen to get to the finish as he has a plane to catch tomorrow. Ed Oxley is in a clear 3rd some 1 1/2 hours back & looking OK. He described the last section I saw him complete as tough going, with lots of pushing & having regular lie downs in the snow aka falling off. After Ed there's at least two other riders but they are a long way back. No sign of anyone else yet. Good luck fellas & I'll try to catch up with them out on the course in the morning.
