Staying up there next week and looking for some route advice

Apart from the loop of Glen Finglas any suggestions?

Ideally around 2 hours and not rideable from the area, it's a family holiday so if I do have a longer ride it will be because the family has the car

Depends on whether you want mountains or not? From Glen Finglas/Brig O Turk you can easily access Ben Ledi via the decent/mostly rideable track on the west of Ben Ledi/east side of Glen Finglas Reservoir 20 mins hike a bike to col from top of obvious path.
You then have got the option to summit Ben Ledi or head down Stank Glen. Take ncp back to Lade Inn and head back to Brig O Turk either by road/Trossachs trail (fairly brutal).

Ben Ledi and stank Glen is a fine wee ride, especially on a nice summers night.

Also consider some slightly further trips-
Over at Balqhidder is the Glen Kendrum circuit using some of ncn7 - ace descent to Lux Toll.
Combine with some fun in the woods behind Killin.

There used to be a decent Menteith hills loop too, was pretty boggy in places and a summer only ride really, took in Loch Venachar and Aberfoyle too. Some real steep enduro-y stuff above Aberfoyle too, Glasgowdan is yer man for showing you that.

I did a truncated loop in the QE Forest and over the Menteith hills due to torrential rain. It was non technical but bloody beautiful all the same.
