30.9 Thomson dropper and the frame is a Stanton Switchback Ti. I use a shim with carbon gripper paste and a Hope bolt up clamp. I tightened to 6nm, not sure if I should tighten it more. Every ride it slips by a few centimetres but it feels very tight in the frame. What's the most I should tighten without interfering with the posts movement?

just keep nipping it up a 1/8th of a turn until the post binds then back off a little.

Your torque wrench might be out as well so you might not have it up to 6.

Problem with the exotic clamp is that they don't do 34.9 to 30.9. I think I'll go for the nipping it until it bind (or my seat clamp bolt snaps) method. Thanks
