What with now needing space for 4 bikes. the rear mount carrier I have wont take all 4
Lookinf at Thule carriers and the system they use.
Are these any good and what carrier should I use? I see that they have frame size limitations. I want to be able to put a Spec Pitch up there?
Any recommendations
Cheers

You'll be able to use the 591 on there which is the frame clamp one. I really like mine, had them nearly three years covering literally thousands of miles. My favourite system. I actually have two 591's and one 590 (axle mounted). Just means I can take a bike that may have a dodgy shaped frame like my old Ransom.
Roof box co did an excellent deal on mine
Thanks will take a look at those. I see that Thule do once called a 53- is that no good?

Agree on 591 - brilliant product, faultless.
591 for me too, done loads of miles with mine. Just beware as there are weight limits not just for the racks but bars and your roof rails and four downhill or heavyweight freeride bikes may be overweight (and will seriously upset your cars cornering ability).
Can't fault the 591, no problems with 1000's of miles of use.
Another 591 user here, all my bikes have been on ChrisL's 591s so that's what I got myself. Very very good.
Ford and Mazda parts dealers seem to be the cheapest way to get them new btw.
