[b][u]Roll-call for the STW Springley Swingley Swinley sexy party...[/b][/u] Right my sexy people, there was a little bit of confusion with the list of people coming to the ride, so [u]here's a thread purely for adding your names to the list of people coming along[/u] :) The original thread is [url- HERE - CLICKY* [/url] and lists lots and lots of details about time, place, parking, maps, rules, ability groups, passes and so on. Please take a couple of minutes to read the first post as chances are it will answer any questions you may have! If you do have any questions about the ride [b]please[/b] ask them on the [urlthread[/url] so we can keep this thread as a list of people. [b][u]ADDITIONAL INFO FOR THE RIDE[/b][/u] [b]Springley Swingley Swinley Video fun[/b] I'd really enjoy the opportunity to mess around and maybe create a little video of the event... So if you have a helmet/action cam please do bring it along! I'll bring my netbook and grab copies of any video footage taken at the end of the ride. Don't worry about the format your camera records in, chances are the editing program I use will handle it fine, but please set your cam to the highest resolution possible. :wink: [b]Riding and food times[/b] Meeting at 11:30am to split into groups and start riding at 12:00 sharp... meeting back at the LookOut cafe at 15:00pm-ish. Bring your own snacks and cakes if you want to save some money! As the different ability groups will all head off in different directions around Swinley, meeting back at 3ish should mean we all get to share that warm after ride buzz (and give me video footage). After riding to work this morning and being back on my bike after 4 weeks off, I'm going to change to the slow / open minded group if thats ok. Plan is to chill and take some pics/movies and just enjoy the day.. PS we're going Full HD movie mode baby..!!

Its a panasonic lumix TZ7 but it records in HD but its a funny format.. AVCHD, I'll bring the cable so you can copy my handy work to your laptop if you like?

AVCHD is fine on my big computer and editing program as far as the specs tell me 🙂 i doubt they'll paly on the netbook i'm bringing to grab copies of the file though so dont worry if the file type isnt recognised when we make copies... its just for transporting to the beastputer 8)

don't see why it wouldnt work other than a shortage of seats in the cafe at 3pm! not sure they'll know what hit them 😆

think we might have to split into about 4 groups:

PaulD - fast group
Thisisnotaspoon - mediumish fastish group
CG - slow group
Me - i can lead a second "extra slow group" if needed that follows CG's group but with a couple of minutes gap behind... warning this could be a very very slow group as i'm recovering from some back issues and i'm under strict instructions not to crash!

unless someone else would be amazing enough to lead a second slow/medium group to balance it out over the speeds?

i doubt all 100 will turn up, my guess would be around 60-70 depending on weather... forecast does look good though 🙂
