Giving it a miss. MTL first thing this morning, City this afternoon and New Mills bonfire this evening, I don't think I'll see Sunday a.m.
I might bump into you all part way round if you're still out. I'll probably go over to Mellor Cross to get my legs loosened up again.

Cheers guys, that was ace - great to put names to new faces or maybe the other way round. And to catch up with some old faces too. Some I even remember the names for... Lovely ride, good company, what more could you ask for? Oh, yeah, caramel-coloured sheep ๐Ÿ™‚

not a chance i would have made it out of the car park, think i have a chest infection rather than just a cold now as my lungs feel tired and useless today.

Cheers everyone that was a really great day. Enjoyed meeting new faces not that I'll be much good with names! The ride had all the right ingredients (much like the cakes) great route, excellent organisation, good company, a mid ride pub stop and cakes too. Fab! (and some good photos too!) ๐Ÿ˜€

We'll do another (properly organised and scheduled) one in summer for those who missed out.

I was pushing a little too hard to stay towards the front of the group so I could fulfil my guiding duties, it caught up with me when we got home (nowt to do with three pints and a huge plate of food), I was in bed at 8.30....

I was in bed at 8.30....

Lightweight - some of us made it to 8.45 before hitting the hay ๐Ÿ˜‰
(following 2 pints of girly lager and a chinese!)

Just washed my gear - first time ever I have use the 'pre-wash' button ๐Ÿ˜ฏ - note to self - don't forget crud catchers next time.....
Next job, clean the bike, pack, then off to the Dales ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks again for organising and have fun on the 'Saddleworth Ride' recce next week

Are there anymore photos from anyone?

19 of us at the start, however one poor chap had to head home because he forgot his shoes. How often have we all made that mistake. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

You are welcome. Remember to sign up for the South Manchester Massive, not all the rides are that local but there are a few and we could even end up hijacking the group and organising rides in the south of Manchester...

Had a great time, thanks everybody, lovely to meet you all. (esp nbt and Bunnyhop for the fab hospitality!). I'm glad I didn't take anybody out on any of the descents. I told nbt there was a reason why I should always go first...

I honestly can't remember many names-faces but look forward to another ride some time next year.
