Thinking of changing my deluxe rt for a super deluxe rct shock. Current shock has a ML3 tune which I believe is the lightest compression damping. The new shock is a ML tune but does anyone know if it would make much difference? Since I'm approx 90kg I figured a slightly stiffer compression tune would be ok but happy to hear others opinions.
I don't think the 3 changes anything. First letter is rebound and second compression I think, the 3 relates to the descend/trail/climb settings perhaps?
L3 is the second lowest tune, but that's not really the question... You'll probably be ok but it's hard to say as it depends whether your frame was really in need of the lowest compression damping or not. There's not a big difference so I would suspect it would be ok.
Thanks, it's for a Whyte S150 so will give it a try, it's not too expensive to get it retuned if required
