As above, it's a pushed revelation. The little fella turns alright, but I'll be jiggered if I can pull it out, even with pliers
Am I missing something?

Probably jammed up with crud spray some gt 85 and wiggle it 😉

It will pull out if you grip it hard enough (s****....giggle) - i've had a few at work that are seemingly stuck fast till i grab it wi a set of vise grips with inner tube round the rebound Knob (guffaw), they'll be a bit of crud/grit stuck in the o-ring so do as Loco says and try the vise grip method.
