Anyone able to find any reviews or have knowledge in comparing the rockshox kage to the fox van rear shocks. On paper both have same adjustments, looking for a cheap coil to put on for Alps this summer, so no fancy bottom out adjustment, dual rebound, dual compression damping, required.

What's a RS Rage? As google says no? (Rage frame with a RS vivd shock is the nearest I can find)
Van's have been about for years and are solid, have a great rep, why try an untested product against it?
Though I was going to mention a certain suspension specialist is selling a competitively priced alternative...
Kage is a vivid without the adjustments (bit like a van RC is to a DHX5).
The van RC is nitrogen charged n(dhx 5 is air charged, apart from some specialized fitment ones) and has a different (read better) low speed comprssion system than the DHX5.
The current Van RC is a better shock than the DHX 5.0
The kage is similar to the Vivid.
