Just removed my monarch R rear shock because it has been leaking air.. was going to replace the seals, but found a small raised area/bulge on the lower part of the air can, approximately 5mm x 2mm
Is this normal or something to be concerned about? Would this cause the shock to lose air?

Not really taken notice of any i've handled, but it sounds like a transfer port to charge the negative air chamber.
