Help - I might be a bit of a dummy, but I'm trying to get an idea of what are the various levels of rock shox forks?
I can't tell my rebas from my revalations from my recons from my refurbs* from my sids
*ok, I may have made that one up. But what are the levels of quality? And how good do I need to go to get something that goods for a little bit of singletrack/xc?

You've got Sids which are specific XC forks and meatier stuff like Lyriks, Totems, Domains etc but for general trail riding that's the hierarchy.
However, there's quite a lot of overlap between models with higher end specs of supposedly lower end forks being better than the lower end specs of higher end forks. Or something like that.
I thought that there were two levels of each fork. So I thought that Recons were cheaper versions of Rebas, while Sektors were cheaper versions of the Revelations. I could be totally wrong though.
