Anyone tried the stans Crest rim yet?

Not clear from pics or JRA whether the sidewall is meant to be a braking surface or not?

Will it take high pressures?

What width tyres will work?

Do you still have to use the hutchison tubeless road tyres? They have a super-strong bead and i read (on Stan's site I think) that it's the bead that's the thing. Running at 100+ PSI you need a super-strong bead for tubeless.

Cheers, al.

Anyone tried the Stans Crest rim yet?

It's just the new 355. I imagine there will be a v-brake version, but possibly not considering the upcoming road rim, the existing one is disc only.

I'd wait for the new road rim to run Road Tubeless, which apparently is very good.
