Evening guys
I'm trying to run tubeless on my carbon diverge using the stock wheels which are tubeless ready. I'm using schwable s-ones.
I've set them up today with the existing rim strip left in which is tight in place & one layer of stans tape with sealant. They've gone up & stayed up ok, but I've just read on the stans website they say 2 layers of tape are needed for road tubeless.
Will one strip be ok?

Probably ok with the existing rim strip underneath.

you don't run the existing strip underneath the tape...
Just tape the rim up with 2 or 3 layers of Stans tape to a very clean a dry rim, then fit the tyre.
