[Closed] riser bars on a race 29er rigid?? will it look daft?

I've had my Genesis Fortitude Race 29er nearly two years now (anyone who knows me will see this as a major accomplishment) and I'm looking to race the bars a little. They're just about an 1" too low for the plodding that I do these days. Slightly wider bars would be nicer but most rigid 29ers i've seen have flat bars and suit that look.

Will I look like a herbert with riser bars?

Fortitude benefits from a riser I think, as it's based around a short fork.

I've got renthal fatbars on my charge cooker rigid 29er & they're fine(10mm rise, 760mm wide). Have you tried raising the stem/flipping the stem? Or maybe a shorter stem that might make you sit a tad more upright.

I didn't like flat bar on my fortitude, felt like I was leaning forward too much. Replaced it with some easton low riser bar.
