[Closed] Rim/Tub/glue interface.......

Glued my first road tub today. I followed the instructions and put a layer of glue on the rim and one on the new tub, left it all 12 hours and put a fresh layer on the tub. After much heaving and cursing I finally got the tub on the rim. I've got to leave it 24 hours now but I have no confidence that the tub is stuck to the rim unless something magical happens and it all fuses together overnight. The glue seemed to go off too quickly, despite the low temperature in the garage at the time and wasn't sticky at all when putting the tub on despite doing it straight after applying the second layer.
