My rockhopper 09 still has its original Tora SL fork. I went for a potter last night, and cycling up the road locked off the fork. Got onto the trail and forgot to unlock it. I only noticed about half way across when I binned it into a wall when the bike decided to stop and I went over the bars superman stylee 🙄
Unlocked the forks but they now seem to take longer to return after being compressed. Am I likely to have buggered them or am I just being paranoid?
get your local bike shop to check them out as i knackerd a set of 4mth old fork by droping off a 2ft jump with them locked out by mistake, blew the cartridge somethingorother. 🙄
If they are not working as well as they were before the incident then i would say you've done something to them but how bad it is only someone who knows about forks would be able to tell you.
