We have a few days in Metz coming up. We'll be en route to the Alps so will have bikes. Our itinerary is pretty full but if the chance comes up I'd like to get a ride in. We have some good riding planned in the Alps so no need for anything too spectacular and certainly don't want to drive to far. We are staying a little to the West of Metz
I've found a few promising looking zones on Strava about 4km west and SW of Metz. Anyone know this area?

I know people have been following this thread closely. Anyway, went for a quick blast today and it's a cracking riding spot. Obviously well used and maintained by the locals. Lots of banked turns, berms and twisty track. All linked up with loamy or rocky singletrack. I just did a little loop but rode past loads of good looking trails. If you happen to be in the area then get the bikes out.
