On a serious note, if I wanted to pack it all in and become a bike guide (at 28), what's the best way to go about it? I'm fit with good skills. How do I make it happen before I get too old?

Think I was 28 when I did just that.

Decide where (i.e. which country) you want to work.

Look at the qualifications you need to work there (if any).

Get qualified.

Do it.
