As above, booked a short trip away next month and need to sort mountain bike specific insurance. I am looking to make sure the bikes and people are covered. If it covers skiing as well, that would be a bonus.
Any recommendations? I have seen Dog Tag and Snow Card.
For medical repatriation & rescue only, up to 6000 meters, check out https://aacuk.org.uk/ , cost £90 for the year*, for our family, combine it with your EHIC & add items insurance from elsewhere.
* actually, thats wrong, until end of Jan i think. If you take it out again in Jan, it'll be for a year.
I doubt you'll find short term insurance for the bikes (theft or damage)
The Medical piece is easy (dogtag) but I've never been able to find a policy that would cover my £6k bike
Home insurance or a specialist bike policy are the only options unless someone knows different
