[Closed] Riding around La Spezia (Liguria)

Im off with work to La Spezia for 3 weeks in a weeks time. Im having to drive down, so will get a chance to take the bike. Is there any riding around the area that can be accessed quickly if I get an early finish the odd evening?

I know the alps proper are only an hour and a half away, but Im unlikely to get more than a few hours here and there.

A long shot, but worth a try, Id hate to get there and find that 30 minutes away is mountain bike heaven. Ive tried googling, but not really come across owt, maybe someone here knows the area?
