Whilst visiting the Dolan factory this morning to spec my new road bike (Hercules SE, Sram red etc) I spotted this

I'm no big expert on carbon mountain bikes, but it looked quite nice to me - I wouldn't mind a go. They also had a nice hardtail but I didn't get a pic as it wasn't fully built.

looks just like my rocky mountain element but.in carbon. Dolan carbon frames are just catalogue models thought aren't they?

Looks horrific to me, I doubt I am the target market.

How much seatpost, how many spacers etc........

I like Dolan bikes, I have had a mythos road frame for a good while, always been spot on, responsive, light enough and can accept my generous mass.

It's no revelation, for sure. Nice that a "dark side" firm is interested though ๐Ÿ™‚

Like the look of that, I went to see Terry about the carbon hardtail, what ruined it for me was the untidy cable routing...it looked a bit of an after thought. Sort out some neat internal routing and you'll have yourself a mighty fine frame there.
