I'm travelling back from work in Manchester to Leeds and looking for a ride on the way.
Travelling back out on the M66 past Bury etc.
Someone suggested Ramsbottom, and a park that spans the M60 near Prestwich. Can't remember it's name.
Any other suggestions?

Cragg and lee quarry's are not far, the park near Prestwich is phillps park and all around death valley, rivington isn't too far away, ramsbottom has some good riding. There's quite alot to go at!!

If you're happy to divert up the M66, I'd second Lee and Cragg Quarry for a couple of hours of rocky swoopy bermy fun.
