I currently use a specialized command post ,been using it for over a year now with zero problems.Im considering going for the 2011 reverb from actionsports.de only reason being is for the zero setback but also the extra travel will be nice.

For those of you with the 2011 reverb -have you had any problems? Is it easy to maintain yourself?

Ive read on various forums ,any warranty issues the post needs sending back to the retailer which could be a problem with me getting it from germany.

Has anyone had a post fail from either actionsports or one of the other euro shops and had to make a warranty claim?

Last thing - One thing i like about the command post is if it was to fail it can be locked into place at the extended height is this possible with the reverb?

Many thanks

got one from rosebikes and it failed at zero miles. air pressure o ring carrier was not screwed in fully, and the oring split in the gap. to avoid any return hassles i just bought a repair kit off the bay for about 6 quid delivered from the states and fitted it myself. fairly easy, and it's been fine since.

Has a worldwide warranty so if it fails hand it in to your local SRAM dealer...

I have one, been fine...although sent off as it is making dizzy noises when compress or extended...doesn't affect function but shop reckons it might have something wrong...

Other than the dizzy noise it has been faultless.

I bought one from Germany (Rosebikes - wouldnt buy from them again as they overcharged and refused to refund the difference). So far so good, been using it for a couple of months and its nice and smooth.

I think warranty wise it can go back to any Sram dealer as stated by Dickbarton

my 2010 Reverb has been very reliable

recently I snagged my shorts on the remote shifter and snapped the switch clean off (my fault..)

within 3 days Fisher Outdoor (SRAM UK rep.) had replaced it FOC and even serviced my Reverb also FOC

cannot fault the service, or quality of the post compared to the grief my customers had with the SBC Command Post, and the sh*tty feel of the Gravity Dropper in comparison to the Reverb.

Ignore dickbarton - he doesn't ride a bike just keeps one in the garage to busy himself with on Sunday Mornings....

I have used a 2010 for an entire season without issues.

The tube mounting at the post was very fragile, it broke and got a newer beefier part... no problems since.

bleeding them is a pain though.

Also I do not like the push lever, very fragile and easy to break.

If you are running a single speed/ single ring get a RHS shifter and place it upside down on the LHS... no problems and easy to reach.

IMO the best telescopic currently out there..
