I already have a reverb standard mount on one of my bikes and looking at getting one for my other bike and when searching found the mmx mount one alot cheaper than the standard mount. I run my standard one about an inch away from brakes and shifters and on the opposite side to what its supposed to be so it can be run upside down. Is there any reason why I cant just buy an mmx mount and do the same

MMX will be fine. It comes with an extra bracket- leave that in the box and it clamps to the bars as normal 🙂
ie. I have a R/H mmx, I have it underneath the L/H side of the bars with Hope+XTR
